NC was undoubtedly the stepping stone I needed to be able to understand the wine industry. It was a fantastic program and offered insights into winemaking, viticulture, marketing, sales, export, and more. The program was the launchpad to my career and helped me understand the wine business from a higher perspective.
From Niagara to Shanghai, Émilie’s education has taken her around the world in the wine industry. After graduating from the Wine Business Management Program at Niagara Émilie would relocate to China and take on the role of Head of Education Asia for one of the leading one companies in the region.
In 2019 Émilie was awarded the designation of top 50 future influencer in the global beverage industry by WSET and IWSC. She’s amassed an impressive portfolio of qualifications including Certified Sommelier from CMS, WSET L1 in Sake, Credited Bordeaux Educator, Certified WSET Educator as well as being a WSET Diploma holder.
Émilie is also the host of a popular podcast, Bottled in China focusing on sharing her stories and adventures of passionate individuals in the food and beverage scene. Starting in 2020 her podcast expanded to feature thought leaders from around the world.
