It was scary, especially coming from West Africa – a different colour, different culture, different everything. At every point in Niagara College I met people who made me happy, kept me pushing, or just shared experiences.

After competing a university degree in Applied Biochemistry in Nigeria, Ijeoma’s life trajectory would find her relocating to Canada, an unfamiliar place but one bound with opportunity.

“It was scary, especially coming from West Africa – a different colour, different culture, different everything,”

Upon arriving in Canada Ijeoma would enrol in the BBA – International Commerce and Global Development program at Niagara College. During her time at NC Ijeoma would work as a Research Assistant, Business & Commercialization Solutions for the Research & Innovation division at the college, in addition to working at the Armoury.

“At every point in Niagara College I met people who made me happy, kept me pushing, or just shared experiences.”
