The chefs and teachers at Niagara College helped me realise I could achieve incredible things in the culinary field. The environment at the college is unparalleled – having a winery, brewery and greenhouse on-campus created a vibrant learning atmosphere. My time at Niagara was incredibly valuable and it helped me realise my dreams and career aspirations.
Tanmay originally had his eyes set on the skies with aspirations of becoming a pilot, but after some setbacks he had to reevaluate his career path. The field of hospitality intrigued Tanmay and he had heard outstanding reviews of the The Canadian Food and Wine Institute at Niagara College which led him to enrol in the Culinary Management program.
Arye found his calling in culinary arts and his career would soon be set for takeoff. During his time at NC Arye would fine-tune his skills while
working at the Benchmark Restaurant at Niagara College and participating in various food and wine events in Niagara. After graduating Arye would pack up his bags and find himself in San Francisco working at a 2-star Michelin restaurant named Coi.
From here, Arye would relocate to Los Angeles and work at the Croft Alley and shortly thereafter move back to Mumbai to work at Toast and Tonic. Presently, Arye is the Head Chef of Croft Alley USA & Qatar, while also serving as a Consulting Head Chef with several other restaurants. Incredible journey Tanmay! We can’t see where your culinary adventures take you next.
